Lycoming County Couple Charged With Theft For Spending Erroneous Bank Deposit

An accidental deposit has left central Pennsylvania couple facing theft charges. It all started earlier this year when a teller at BB&T bank mistakenly deposited 120-thousand dollars into the account of Robert and Tiffany Williams. Authorities say Instead of notifying the bank, the Lycoming County couple spent the next two and a half weeks splurging on an SUV, a camper, a car a trailer, two-four wheelers and lending some to friends in need. In June Tiffany told the bank her and her husband would figure out a way to pay back the 107-thousand dollars they owed in over draft fees, but later stopped communicating with the bank. They now face felony theft charges.
