Governor Tom Wolf is traveling to Lithuania and Poland next week. During the trip Governor Wolf will meet with members of the Pennsylvania National Guard who have been deployed to Poland and Lithuania. This year marks the 26th year of a military partnership between the state and Lithuania. There are about 600 PA National Guard members stationed in both Lithuania and Poland. Governor Wolf will also meet with government and business leaders in Lithuania. While in Poland the governor will also visit the Auschwitz-BIrkenau Memorial to honor the memory of the 11 victims of last October's Tree of Life Synagogue massacre in Pittsburgh. The governor is paying for his air travel and lodging during the trip.
