State Official Releases Update On Progress Securing New Voting Systems

Pennsylvania counties continue to make progress when it comes to getting new voting systems. Acting Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar says about 73 percent of the state’s counties have taken official actions to select new voting systems with voter-verifiable paper trails. And Boockvar says the majority of counties will be using the new voting systems in this November’s election. As a result, Boockvar says voters should have confidence that their votes will be counted accurately.
