The man who drowned Sunday in the West Branch of the Susquehanna River north of Northumberland has been identified as 19-year-old Donte Glasper. The Northumberland County Coroner has ruled the cause of death as accidental drowning. The coroner says the victim had lived in Milton and Mount Carmel. Friends who were with Glasper saw him struggling after he went into the river Sunday afternoon in Point Township, but were unable to save him. His body was recovered about three hours after he was reported missing.
