Shamokin Man Accused Of Impersonating Federal Agent

A Shamokin man walked into a city council meeting there earlier this week, and began accusing city officials of burning his house down. Police say 56-year-old Michael Robinson also claimed to be federal agent acting on behalf of the U.S. Attorney General and two federal judges and was at the meeting to make arrests. As you may have guessed he’s not a federal agent. Detectives with the Northumberland County DA’s Office have charged Robinson with impersonating a public servant, disorderly conduct, and disrupting a meeting.
