Suspect Arrested In Connection With Vandalism At Wilkes-Barre Planned Parenthood

Police have arrested a man in connection with vandalism and attempted arson at the Planned Parenthood office in Luzerne County. Police say the doors leading to the office on North Main Street in Wilkes barre had been smashed with a brick and someone splashed red paint on the floor with a message on the wall. Visible from the outside, it said "Blessed are those who mourn." Planned Parenthood, which is on the second floor of the office building, had not been breached, but authorities say operations had been disrupted on Tuesday. One suspect has been arrested. He's identified as Iain Carberry, who faces charges of burglary, criminal mischief, trespass, disorderly conduct and risking a catastrophe. Police say Carberry has admitted to the damage.
