Susquehanna Valley Mall Sold At Sheriff's Sale

The Susquehanna Valley Mall near Selinsgrove was sold on Friday at Sheriff’s sale for $5.25 million dollars. Malls all over Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania have fallen on hard times. The owner of the Susquehanna Valley Mall owed nearly $34 million on its mortgage. It was just bought by the bank which holds that mortgage. There were two people bidding for the mall, the bank and developer Robert Grayston. There’s no word on what the bank plans to do with the mall.
