A Montour County Police Chief Appointed To State Crime Commission

Sean McGinley, the Police Chief in Mahoning Township, Montour County, has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency by Gov. Tom Wolf. Established in 1978, the commission represents a joint effort of public officials and private citizens who work closely with the governor's office on matters of criminal and juvenile justice. McGinley has served as Mahoning's chief since February 2017. Before becoming chief, the Elysburg resident served with the State Police for 25 years.
