The Susquehanna Valley Mall in Selinsgrove could soon be headed for a sheriff's sale. The mortgage holder filed paperwork for the sheriff's sale to recover nearly $34 million owed by the owners of the mall. Boscov’s is now the only large anchor store there, after the closings of Sears, Penney’s and Bon-Ton in recent years. The mall could avoid the sheriff's sale if it files for bankruptcy or reaches an agreement with the mortgage holder. The sheriff's sale for the mall is tentatively set for August 9th in Snyder County.
