A second person has been charged in connection with operating that meth lab that exploded Tuesday morning heavily damaging a double-block home in the 300 block of Chamber Street in Danville. 40-year-old Nikki Doebler of 321 Chamber Street is facing charges of operating a meth lab, causing or risking a catastrophe, manufacture of meth with a child present, endangering the welfare of a child and three counts of recklessly endangering another person. Doebler’s boyfriend, 33-year-old Richard McHugh, who also lived in the home is facing similar charges. They were filed on Tuesday. Both Doebler and McHugh are in the county lock-up on $250,000 bail. Authorities say they also expect to file charges against Michael Mowrer, Jr., who was burned in the fire and taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, once his condition improves.
