New Way To Vote Proposed In PA

Legislation introduced in the state House would give Pennsylvania voters another option when it comes to casting a ballot. The bill would permit Pennsylvania voters to cast their ballots by mail. Voters would request a ballot once and then continue receiving them every election until they opted out. The bill is sponsored by Rep. Bob Matzie, who says a vote-by-mail system is already working in 22 other states, including three -- Oregon, Washington and Colorado --that hold their elections entirely by mail.
