Berwick Woman Charged With 6 Others In Massive Credit Card Fraud Case

The State Attorney General’s Office has announced the arrest of 7 people, including a Columbia County woman, accused of more than $100,000 in credit card fraud in Pennsylvania and around the country. The AG’s office says 36-year-old Jessica Walter, of Berwick, was part of a group of 3 people that used stolen credit card information to make unauthorized purchases totaling nearly $32,000 at Giant Food Stores and nearly $30,000 at Weis Markets. Another group of 4 people only shopped at Giant Food Stores, making transactions amounting to more than $53,000. In all victims of the stolen credit cards were mostly over the age of 60 and were from more than 20 states across the country, including Pennsylvania.
