The price for a gallon of regular gas in Pennsylvania has topped the 3-dollar mark. At $3.05 a gallon the average price of regular gas in PA is up about 25 cents since the beginning of the month. The switch to the more expensive to produce summer blend of gas, increased demand and decreased crude supplies are contributing to the jump in pump prices. Gas prices are expected to continue to increase over the next few weeks. Last year they peaked right before Memorial Day.
