PA Has Had A Year's Worth Of Tornadoes In Just The Last Week Or So

More than a dozen tornadoes have been confirmed in Pennsylvania in the last week or so including the one that touched down in the Benton area. Spring and early summer are the times of year when Pennsylvania sees tornadoes. However, while there are usually 12 to 15 tornadoes in PA each year, the National Weather Service in State College says given the recent amount of tornadic activity, this could be an above average year. If a tornado is imminent get to the lowest level of a home or building – ideally in a place where there are no windows.
