Straight Line Winds--Not A Tornado--Blamed For Montour County Storm Damage

National Weather Service investigators believe it was straight line winds reaching up to 105 miles per hour and not a tornado that caused damage late Sunday night or early Monday morning in Limestoneville area of Montour County. The strong winds leveled a barn and ripped roofs from homes and a shed. In all, about a half dozen buildings in Limestoneville were damaged by the storm.
