Jim Doyle On Frank Sheptock's Departure From Berwick

Frank Sheptock has resigned his position as head football coach and athletic director at Berwick High School. He announced his intentions to the Berwick administrators yesterday and met with his players and assistant coaches. Sheptock will be an assistant at King's College in Wilkes Barre next fall. A three time All American linebacker at Bloomsburg University and a member of the College Football Hall of Fame, Sheptock succeeded the late George Curry at Berwick. In his three seasons with the Bulldogs, his teams were 27 and 11 and reached the District 2 Quad A finals twice and the semifinals last season. Prior to taking over in Berwick, he was the head coach at Wilkes for 18 seasons.
