After Recovering From 2 Floods, Bloom Woman's House Destroyed By Fire

A Bloomsburg woman who lost her home to an early Monday morning fire says the place on West 11th Steet near Bloomsburg Middle School had been hit twice before by flooding—in 2006 and 2011. Antoinette Kester says she was inside sleeping when the fire ignited. She was able to get out safely, but her cat Pia was still inside. Kester says a neighbor was able to rescued Pia. Through the heartbreak of losing her home twice to flooding, and now from fire, Fire investigators have ruled the blaze accidental.
