Governor Proposes Education Help For Guard Families

Gov. Tom Wolf has unveiled a proposed new program that he calls a GI Bill of Rights for Pennsylvania. During an appearance at Fort Indiantown Gap, Gov. Wolf introduced the Military Family Education Program. It benefits the spouses and children of members of the Pennsylvania National Guard, providing ten semesters of tution-free education at an in-state college or university. Bipartisan legislation creating the program will be introduced in both the state House and Senate.
