Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin, is scheduled to speak at an upcoming conference at Bloomsburg University. Trayvon Martin was the Florida teenager shot and killed back in 2012 by neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman. Zimmerman was charged with second degree murder in connection with the shooting, but was ultimately found not guilty. After the tragic death of her son, Fulton has dedicated her life to social change and speaking against violence. Fulton will speak a the Kehr Union Ballroom this Saturday at 11:15 am and the speech is free and open to the public.
