Vaping-Related Lung Disease Claims Its First Life In PA

Pennsylvania has recorded its first death due to vaping-related lung disease. Secretary of Health, Dr. Rachel Levine, who confirmed the state’s first death associated with lung disease due to vaping, says it underscores the important of people who vape knowing the symptoms of the disease. They include a cough, shortness of breath, chest pain, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, fever and weight loss. The state has reported 9 confirmed and 12 probable cases of vaping-associated lung disease to the CDC.
