State Lawmaker Pushing For Comprehensive Anti-Descrimination Legislation

The new legislative session resumed Monday in Harrisburg, with one lawmaker hoping anti-discrimination legislation is on the agenda. State Senator Larry Farnese is calling on his colleagues to approve comprehensive anti-discrimination legislation, which includes protections based on sexual orientation. Farnese says Pennsylvania is one of a handful of states which has failed to do so, and those who object based on religious or moral grounds should consider the economic price Pennsylvania is paying as a result.
