State Police Ticket A Lot Of Commercial Drivers For Not Obeying Ban During WInter Storm

Pennsylvania State Police were busy during last weekend's winter storm citing drivers who did not comply with the ban on commercial vehicles ordered by Governor Tom Wolf. During the ban on commercial vehicles on interstate highways Pennsylvania State Police troopers issued nearly a thousand citations and more than 200 warnings to commercial vehicle drivers who violated the ban. They face a $300 fine. State Police says banning commercial vehicles during bad weather can help to avoid crashes involving these vehicles which often create major traffic problems.
