Gov. Schedules Special Election To Fill Vacant Congressional Seat

Governor Tom Wolf has announced the date of a special election to fill Congressman Tom Marino’s seat. Marino stepped down on Wednesday to take a job in the private sector. The governor, citing concerns from county election officials, set the date for the election on May 21st, to coincide with the state's Primary Election Day. Marino represented the newly drawn 12th District which included parts or all of 15 counties in Central Pa including most of Northumberland County.
