New Chancellor Of State System Of Higher Ed Says Major Change Is Needed

The new Chancellor of the PA State System of Higher Education is acknowledging the twin challenges they're facing--increasing costs and a dwindling student population. Daniel Greenstein, who just last week was sworn in as Chancellor of the State System of Higher Education acknowledges that change is needed within the 14 state-owned universities, but advises caution. With the traditional student body on the decline, Greenstein says they're looking toward non-traditional students, those currently in the work force and in need of training in an increasingly high-tech environment.
