Bill Introduced That Would Allow Same-Day Voter Registration

A bill being introduced in the state House would allow eligible Pennsylvanians to register and vote on election day. The bill would allow what's known as same-day registration, where a voter shows up at the polls on election day, presents a valid ID and casts a ballot. The vote would count once the information is verified by the Department of State. Representative Ryan Bizzaro says his bill would make it easier to cast a ballot and has been proven to increase voter participation in the states where it's currently legal.
