Dangerously Cold Temperatures Hit The Area

What is left following the weekend winter storm is dangerously cold temperatures. The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory that remains in effect until 1 o’clock this afternoon and transportation officials are warning of icy conditions on roadways. The bitterly cold temperatures along with strong winds 35 mph or higher in some areas could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Stay inside if you can. If you must go out, cover as much of the skin as possible and dress in layers.
