PA State Prisons On Lockdown

All state prisons in Pennsylvania have been placed on lockdown by the state Department of Corrections. The lockdown was ordered after multiple staff members became sickened by an unknown substance. Corrections spokesperson Susan McNauhton says the latest incidents occurred last weekend and again on Wednesday. In addition to the lockdown, visits have been suspended, all prison mailrooms have been closed with the exception of legal correspondence, and all personnel must now use protective equipment, especially gloves.
