Hot Weather

With a stretch of hot weather in the forecast, child safety advocates are offering advice about how to prevent another tragedy of a child dying in a hot car. In an effort to protect children from the dangers hot cars can present the American Trauma Society Pennsylvania Division says never leave children along in a vehicle, even for a minute. State law prohibits children under 6 from being left alone in a vehicle for any amount of time. The Trauma Society also recommends keeping cars parked at home locked to prevent children from getting inside and not being able to get out.
