In Danville on Tuesday... the arrival of a Lifeflight helicopter to the roof of the Geisinger Medical Center. While that was going on... the hospital showing off it's latest addition to the fleet... a twin – engine helicopter to be based in near – by Carbon County in association with St. Lukes University Health Network in the Lehigh Valley. Standardization is the key... according to Safety Manager and Pilot Peter Carros. The helicopter is a 2010 model... was used for training with the U.S. Military and has about 500 hours. It goes into service July 1st.
