Bogus Bomb Threat Interrupts BU Graduation Ceremony

Bloomsburg University Police and town police continue investigating a bogus bomb threat that interrupted a graduation ceremony over the weekend at Bloomsburg University. The bomb threat came in Saturday morning through the Columbia County 911 center and forced the evacuation of the Haas Center during the Fall commencement ceremony for BU’s College of Education and College of Liberal Arts. The university quickly moved the ceremony to the much smaller Carver Hall and set-up an overflow simulcast in Kehr Union Ballroom. A sweep of the Haas Center didn't turn up anything dangerous.
