PA Dept. Of Health Says Get Your Flu Shot

The state Department of Health is issuing its annual advisory, recommending that Pennsylvanians 6 months and older receive a flu shot. PA Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine says it's best to get the shot as early as possible. During the previous flu season, Dr. Levine says there were more than 121-thousand reported cases in Pennsylvania and 256 deaths. The vaccine is especially recommended for the elderly, the very young, persons with disabilities, and those with other medical conditions.
