Lock Haven Establishes Pet-Friendly Dorm

Starting this Spring pets will be able to go to college, too! Lock Haven University is the first in Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education to introduce a pet-friendly residence hall. Allowed pets include cats, dogs under 40 pounds with certain breed restrictions, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs and fish. Students must apply with the school for pet residency. Photos of the pet along with current vaccinations and a certificate of spaying or neutering (for dogs and cats) must be included in the application.
