Deer Breeding Season Means More Crashes

With deer being more active during breeding season October through December is the time of year when Pennsylvania drivers are most likely to be involved in a deer related crash. As a result drivers are urged to slow down and pay attention.   Deer related crashes and fatalities were up slightly in PA last year. Under state law a crash in which a vehicle strikes a deer is considered a not at fault crash meaning an insurer cannot raise a policyholder's premium.
