Pennsylvania's top health official is putting out the word that electronic cigarettes are not a safe alternative when it comes to smoking. The popularity of e-cigarettes or "vaping" is on the increase, especially among teens. The US Food and Drug Administration has declared their use an epidemic among those under the age of 25. PA Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine says nicotine isn't the only danger posed by vaping. Dr. Levine says it's important for parents to inform their children about the dangers of vaping, especially before they pick up the habit.
