Officials Discuss Election Security Improvements

With election day fast approaching state officials are addressing election security. Following Russian efforts to interfere with the 2016 election, David Becker of the Center for Election Innovation and Research recently told the House State Government Committee that voting is more secure than ever before. However, Becker says Pennsylvania and the nation must keep improving to ensure the integrity of the election system. Becker says the best defense against interference with the vote is to use paper ballots and have robust audits of the ballots.
