PA Jobs At New High

September was another good month on the jobs front for Pennsylvania. The state's unemployment rate held steady at 4.1 percent in September, remaining at its lowest level since July 2000. State Department of Labor and Industry spokesperson Theresa Elliott says for the 18th consecutive month the state set a new record high for jobs. Five of the state's 11 industry supersectors added jobs in September with professional and business services and education and health services both setting record highs.
