On August 24th, 2018, the newly hired President of Bloomsburg University, Dr. Bashar Hanna, was accused of sexual misconduct, miring Bloomsburg University in controversy, and adding to the University’s image problems stemming from the notorious Bloomsburg University “Block Party” weekend.
After today’s edition of the Press Enterprise the headline ”Hanna denies he has mistreated anyone,” Joe Reilly, host of the WHLM Morning Buzz, could no longer remain silent about the victims of Dr. Bashar Hanna’s divisiveness.

The 2018 WHLM Parade of Lights was an absolutely stunning success this year. With over 80 floats and thousands of people lining the streets of Downtown Bloomsburg, not to mention the first ever Winterfest at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds, this year’s parade is the biggest and best yet!

Nearly 23-thousand meals were packed by 75 volunteers who turned out Saturday at Bloomsburg Middle School for the Bloomsburg Rotary Club’s fight against hunger. The cheesy rice and vegetable meals will be distributed locally by AGAPE and the Bloomsburg Food Cupboard.
