Southern Columbia vs. Dunmore                         11/23

After Southern Columbia extended their lead to 14-6 with 6:56 to go in the third quarter, Dunmore scored 29 unanswered points to build a 35-14 lead and then hung on for a 35-29 win over the Tigers. Southern Columbia quarterback Taylor Young ran for touchdown runs of 13 and 14 yards to give the Tigers that 14-6 advantage. Matt Lupold and Adam Feudale had touchdown runs for Southern Columbia in the fourth quarter rally that came up short. Dunmore was paced by 215 pound running back Daiqwon Buckley who ran for 130 yards on 26 carries. Quarterback Brandon Kujawski threw two touchdown passes as the Bucks advanced into the Class A state quarterfinals with a 12-1 record. Southern Columbia's season ends. The Tigers finished 12-1.


South Williamsport at Southern Columbia November 16


South Williamsport scored on a 43 yard run by Dominick Bragalone to take an early 6-0 lead, but Southern Columbia went on to score 35 unanswered points to take a 35-6 lead at halftime on their way to a 47-12 victory. Senior quarterback Taylor Young ran for two first half touchdowns and threw a 51 yard touchdown pass to Matt Lupold. Fullback Adam Feudale also ran for two first half touchdowns of 13 and 25 yards, giving him 20 rushing touchdowns on the season. Southern Columbia finished the game with 407 yards in total offense to just 138 for South Williamsport. The Mounties ended the season with a 10-2 record with both losses coming to the Tigers. Southern Columbia won its 21st District 4 Class A title in 22 years and will take a 12-0 record into their first round state playoff game against Dunmore.

Line Mountain at Southern Columbia 11/9


Trailing 21-7 after three quarters, Southern Columbia staged a dramatic fourth quarter rally to beat Line Mountain 28-21` in a District 4 Class A semifinal. In that decisive final period, Adam Feudale ran five yards for a touchdown; freshman Blake Marks scored on a 35 yard run; and the eventual winning score came on a 44 yard screen pass from Taylor Young to Feudale. The game was a contrast in offensive styles with Southern Columbia rushing for 235 yards and Line Mountain passing for 257 yards. Line Mountain finished the season with an 8-3 record. Southern Columbia is 11-0 going into the District final against South Williamsport Friday at Tiger Stadium.

Southern Columbia at Warrior Run 11/2


Making his first varsity start, freshman quarterback Nick Becker threw three touchdown passes in the first quarter as Southern Columbia built a 24-0 lead on their way to a 50-19 win over Warrior Run. Becker's first touchdown pass went to his brother Jake for 16 yards. He later hooked up with Bryce Parry for 69 yards and Matt Lupold for 42 yards. The Tigers , who also got 96 rushing yards and a touchdown from Adam Feudale, clinched the Heartland Conference Division Three title and completed an unbeaten regular season. Southern Columbia will open the District 4 Class A playoffs at home Friday night against Line Mountain. Warrior Run finishes the season at 2-8.
