Southern Columbia: Week Four


Southern Columbia at South Williamsport Friday, September 21

 

Southern Columbia Improved to 4-0 with a 42-21 win over previously unbeaten South Williamsport. The Tigers led 35-7 at the half highlighted by a 63 yard touchdown run by Adam Feudale, a 48 yard interception return for a score by Luke Rarig, and a 53 yard touchdown pass from Taylor Young to Bryce Parry. Southern Columbia had 458 total yards to 292 for South Williamsport. Feudale led the Tigers in rushing with 117 yards.

Mount Carmel at Southern Columbia September 14

 

Trailing 19-14 at halftime, Southern Columbia dominated the second half in a 49-33 win over previously unbeaten Mount Carmel. Junior fullback Adam Feudale ran for 118 yards and three touchdowns and senior quarterback Tayor Young threw a 24 yard touchdown pass to Bryce Harper for the Tigers who amassed 438 yards in total offense. With the win Southern Columbia remained unbeaten. Mount Carmel fell to 2-1.

Montgomery at Southern Columbia Friday, September 7

 

Playing their home opener against an outmanned Montgomery team, Southern Columbia scored 43 first quarter points on their way to a 55-3 win over the Red Raiders. The Tigers had 425 rushing yards led by Brad Noll with 104. Adam Feudale ran for two touchdowns and quarterback Taylor Young threw three touchdown passes- two to Joe Kleman and one to Nate Hunter. With the win, Southern Columbia improves to 2-0. Montgomery falls to 0-2.

Leading by a 6-0 score after the first quarter, Southern Columbia exploded for 21 second quarter points on their way to a 61-0 win in a rematch of last season's second round state playoff game. The Tigers' first score came on a 64 yard touchdown pass from Taylor Young to Bryce Parry. It was an afternoon of big plays for Southern Columbia. Adam Feudale had a 78 yard kick return touchdown; Joe Kleman returned a punt 47 yards for a score; and freshman running back Blake Marks had touchdown runs of 60 and 29 yards. Defensively the Tigers held the Royals to just 33 yards rushing.
