Statement from the Columbia County Emergency Management Agency:
All Columbia County residents are advised to make sure you have all you need to sustain yourself and your family for at least 72 hours. This includes water (1 gallon per person per day), non-perishable food, and a manually operated can opener....flashlights and batteries.
Report power outages to PPL by calling 1-800-DIAL-PPL. Remember any non-working traffic signal is treated as a stop sign. If you do not need to, you are urged NOT to travel throughout the duration of the storm. Stay tuned to News Radio 930 WHLM for additional information as it becomes available.
