Berwick Football

The last time George Curry walked the sidelines at Spartan Stadium, he was the head football coach of Wyoming Valley West. Friday night he was on the opposite sideline leading his Bulldogs as they attempted to break WVW's winning streak against them. Unfortunately for Berwick, the Spartans made it a 5-game streak as they came out on top of a hard-fought game 33-15.

Game of Week

The Panthers of Bloomsburg secured their third straight win Friday night when they beat Jersey Shore at Panther Stadium in our game of the week. The Mercy Rule came into effect early in the game, the final was 35-13.

High School Football

Southern Columbia, Central Columbia, and Danville all remained unbeaten Friday night. Southern beat South Williamsport 42-21, Central beat Milton 21-8, and Danville beat Mifflinburg 23-13.

BU Huskies Football

In college ball Saturday afternoon, Bloomsburg U traveled to Long Island to face LIU Post, who defeated the Huskies last year in a driving October snowstorm. BU got their revenge with a 42-27 victory over Post. You can hear the details from the afternoon's action with Jim Doyle in the WHLM Husky Post Game Report:
