Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky faces life in prison following his conviction late Friday of assaulting 10 boys over a 15 – year span. After being found guilty of 45 of 48 counts, the 68 – year old Sandusky was hustled off to the Centre County Jail in Bellefonte. Sentencing will take place in 90 – days, but the mandatory minimums will keep him behind bars for life. Over the past two weeks... testimony has been heard from eight of Sandusky's victims... telling of sexual abuse which took place at the Sandusky home... and in the showers of the Penn State football facility. Sandusky's defense attorney, Joe Amendola telling reporters that the defense team expected a guilty verdict... and wished he had more time to prepare for the trial and review all the evidence.
