12:00PM 8:00PM Art Gallery Artspace Gallery will open an exhibit featuring new clay work by Sara Baker and fiber by Denise Richards on Thursday August 22nd. Recordings of music composed by Sean Richards Teeter will play during the show. The show runs through September 29th with an opening reception on August 24th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

All Day Car Raffle Central Susquehanna Sight Services are hosting a car raffle. They’re giving a way a 2013 Honda Insight Hybrid with 40 second prizes valued at $100. You can get tickets now for the November 14th drawing. Raffle tickets are a donation of $15.00 per ticket. Look for Central Susquehanna Sight Services at area events to enter. All Day Milton Harvest Festival The Milton Harvest Festival is happening Friday September 13th through Sunday September 22nd. All Day Play The Millville Community Players present “A Nice Family Gathering” Friday September 20th and Saturday September 21st at Millville High School. It’s a story of a man who loved his wife so much he forgot to tell her.
All Day Scarecrow Decorating The Orangeville Public Library will host their 2nd annual scarecrow-decorating contest again this year. Registration and pick up of scarecrow frames is from September 16th through October 12th. All decorated scarecrows will be put on display in front of the library. Voting begins October 14th. All Day Walk-Ride Benefit Local resident Marc Cosgrove will do a 90-mile country walk-ride to benefit the Ber-Vaughn Pool on Friday September 20th. He plans to walk and bike 90 miles in Columbia and Luzerne Counties to raise money and awareness for the pool. To sponsor the ride please contact the Berwick Area United Way.
6:30PM n/a Bloom Fair Vesper Service The Bloomsburg Fair Vespers will host their vesper service for the fair this Friday night on the free stage at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds. At 6:30 PM “The Refuge” will perform and the service starts at 7:00 PM. Pastor Gideon Gaitano from the Dallas area will provide the evening’s message.
