11:00AM 4:00PM Loose Ties Model Railroad Display The Loose Ties Model Railroad Club will open their huge display of operating trains at the Columbia Mall on Saturday June 8th and Sunday June 9th. Their displays feature over 60 trains and 10,000 feet of track. Hours are Saturday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

All Day Volunteers Needed The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteers for their “Road to Recovery” program. You can volunteer your spare time to provide free transportation taking cancer patients to and from their treatments. Volunteer Drivers are needed in Columbia and Montour Counties. All Day Head Start Recruitment The Columbia Sullivan Head Start program is now recruiting children for the 2013-2014 program year. Head start is federal funded pre-school program that emphasizes education, health, nutrition, mental health, disabilities, social services and parent involvement. Performances are at 7:00 PM each evening. This year’s concert features “A Touch of Brass.” No tickets are required for admission.
