10:00AM 12:00PM Saturday Trains The Free Saturday Trains Program will be open at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Danville from 10:00 AM to Noon each Saturday. They feature their “talking train” and a new model merry-go-round. Adults and children can play with the trains. Over 1,000 icicle lights decorate the display.
10:00AM 12:00PM Gospel Business Men's Fellowship The Columbia-Montour Chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International will meet on Saturday May 25th at 10:00 AM at Spirit Life Church in Bloomsburg. Guest speaker is Minister Gordon Hofer. The church is located on Old Berwick Road.
1:00PM 5:00PM Save The Swimming Pool Carnival The Ber-Vaughn Pool of Berwick is the place for a carnival Wednesday May 22nd through Saturday May 25th. It’s a “Save The Swimming Pool” event to raise funds to help save the Ber-Vaughn Pool in Berwick. The carnival will run Wednesday to Friday from 4:00 to 11:00 PM and Saturday from 1:00 to 11:00 PM. Hewlett Sausage and Denny and Pearl Pizza will be there.
4:30PM 6:30PM Ice Cream Social Town Hill United Methodist Church is hosting an ice cream social on Saturday May 25th from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. They’re selling homemade ice cream, soups, sandwiches, pies and cakes. The church is located on Town Hill Road in Shickshinny.
5:00PM 10:00PM Southside Fire Company Carnival The Southside Fire Company presents their annual carnival Tuesday May 21st through Saturday May 25th. Food stands and rides open daily at 5:00 PM. Tuesday entertainment is Covert Action, Wednesday is the Pepper Street Band, Thursday is Memory Lane, Friday is lucky afternoon, and Saturday there’s a chicken barbeque and entertainment is the band Beef. The fire company is located at Avenue D and Third Street in Riverside.
All Day Volunteers Needed The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteers for their “Road to Recovery” program. You can volunteer your spare time to provide free transportation taking cancer patients to and from their treatments. Volunteer Drivers are needed in Columbia and Montour Counties. All Day Flag Collection The Orangeville Public Library is collecting worn US Flags during the month of May. A drop-off box is located inside the library. A proper retirement ceremony will be preformed by the boy scouts of Troop 9 in June. The library is located at 301 Mill Street in Orangeville.
All Day SMILE Meeting SMILE is happy to announce that they will now host meetings in Bloomsburg and Berwick. SMILE is a group for single mothers to get together for support and friendship. Meetings in Bloomsburg will be held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month at Bloomsburg Christian Church. In Berwick at the New Covenant Christian Center on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays. 6:00PM 9:00PM Saturday Night Cruise-In The Dream Machines Motor Club is hosting a Saturday Night Cruise-In on Saturday May 25th from 6 to 9 PM at the Columbia Mall. All cars, trucks, and motorcycles are welcome. There will be door prize giveaways, 50/50 drawing, and a $25 prize to one lucky participant at the end of the night.

All Day Sweet Valley Fair The Sweet Valley Volunteer Fire Company invites you to their annual Memorial Day Weekend Fair Friday May 24th through Monday May 27th. Grounds open at 5:30 PM Friday night, 4:30 PM Saturday and Sunday, and at 10:00 AM Monday. There’s food and entertainment nightly and Monday it’s the fireman’s parade and Olympics. The fire company is located on Main Road in Sweet Valley.
All Day Baseball Tournament Support the Memorial Baseball Tournament in Millville this weekend. Games start Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 AM at the Millville Little League Field. Participating teams include The Millville Maniacs, Shikellemy, Jonestown, Mifflinburg, Benton and other areas. There will be concessions and carnival games too.
