7:00AM 9:30AM Breakfast For A Donation Mt. Zion United Methodist Church of Catawissa is hosting a breakfast for a donation on Saturday May 18th from 7:00 to 9:30 AM. This month’s donations go to Your Loving Choices and the Bloomsburg Women’s Center. The church is located on Orchard Drive in Catawissa.
8:00AM 12:00PM Clothing Give Away Christ United Lutheran Church is hosting a clothing give-away on Saturday May 18th from 8:00 AM to Noon. They’ll have a special children’s activity center set up. The church is located at 116 Church Street in Catawissa.

The forum is open to all and will offer a better understanding of many types of addictions. If you are seeking help for yourself or someone else, they hope you’ll join.
10:00AM 12:00PM Saturday Trains The Free Saturday Trains Program will be open at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Danville from 10:00 AM to Noon each Saturday. They feature their “talking train” and a new model merry-go-round. Adults and children can play with the trains. Over 1,000 icicle lights decorate the display.
10:00AM 12:00PM Poetry St. Cyril Spiritual Center in Danville will host a Reflective Morning “Poetry is Good For the Soul” Saturday May 18th from 10:00 AM to Noon. 10:00AM 5:00PM Train Day The Loose Ties Model Railroad Club will host their third annual Train Day at the Columbia Mall this Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You can see the club’s model-railroad layouts along with the Berwick Railfan Photo Gallery and the Wheelchair Engineers program. It’ll all be open near the Sears end of the Columbia Mall.
11:00AM 5:00PM MayFest Mifflinburg Heritage and Revitalization Association is hosting its second MayFest on Saturday May 18th from 10 AM to 6 PM. A new addition this year is a wine festival featuring nine wineries which will be from 11 AM to 5 PM. MayFest features food and craft vendors, a maypole, entertainment, Plein Air art show and sale. The Elias Center for the Performing Arts will host a special family concert by Grammy Award winning children’s music and book writer Barry Louis Polisar at 1:30 PM. MayFest is free to the public but the WineFest and concert are ticketed events. For more information or to purchase tickets call 966-1666. MayFest is located on Quarry Road in Mifflinburg.

They’ll have hot dogs and drinks, a finger painting station, kids’ entertainment, rides, games and vacation bible school information. The carnival is sponsored by the Bethel, Fisherdale, Kulp, Mt. Zion and St. Paul United Methodist Churches.
12:00PM 2:00PM Children's Carnival The United Methodist Churches of Catawissa are having a free children’s carnival on Saturday May 18th from Noon to 2:00 PM at St. Paul’s UMC. There will be a petting zoo, pony rides, finger painting, balloon artist, carnival games, chalk artist, food and more. The church is located on Esther Furnace Road in Catawissa.
All Day Montour County Relay For Life The American Cancer Society will host the annual Montour County Area Relay For Life Friday May 17th through Saturday May 18th at the Southside Fire Company. Events start at 3:00 PM on Friday and continue straight through Saturday at 3:00 PM. Stop by to support this year’s teams and join the fight against cancer.
All Day Week of Caring The Berwick Area United Way is planning a “Week of Caring” for the week of May 13th through 18th. There are a lot of projects lined up at area parks with different shifts for volunteers. There are many ways for you to get involved. All Day Volunteers Needed The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteers for their “Road to Recovery” program. You can volunteer your spare time to provide free transportation taking cancer patients to and from their treatments. Volunteer Drivers are needed in Columbia and Montour Counties. All Day Flag Collection The Orangeville Public Library is collecting worn US Flags during the month of May. A drop-off box is located inside the library. A proper retirement ceremony will be preformed by the boy scouts of Troop 9 in June. The library is located at 301 Mill Street in Orangeville.
All Day SMILE Meeting SMILE is happy to announce that they will now host meetings in Bloomsburg and Berwick. SMILE is a group for single mothers to get together for support and friendship. Meetings in Bloomsburg will be held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month at Bloomsburg Christian Church. In Berwick at the New Covenant Christian Center on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays. All Day Marcellus Shale Documentary Project The Moose Exchange in Downtown Bloomsburg presents the Marcellus Shale Documentary Project through June 8th. All Day Car Show and Tractor Pull The Centre Hall Grange invites you to their car show on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Registration is $10.00, and there will be a $500.00 grand prize. At 5:00 PM it’s a tractor pull. All of the action is happening at the Centre Hall Grange Fairgrounds.
