9:15AM 9:45PM Toddler Time The Bloomsburg Public Library hosts “Toddler Time” each Monday morning at 9:15. The twenty-minute program features stories, music and movement for your toddlers ages eighteen months to three years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult at the Bloomsburg Public Library.
1:00PM 6:00PM Blood Drive The Orangeville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will host a blood drive on Monday from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. For an appointment call 683-5036.
3:00PM 5:00PM Wheelchair Engineers The free Wheelchair Engineers Train program will be open at the Columbia Mall in Bloomsburg this Monday. The handicapped-accessible model train layout is open each Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, and now features the Dillon Floral limited-edition train with its puffing MTH steam engine. It’s located at the Sears end of the mall.
3:00PM 5:00PM Train Program The Wheel Chair Engineers Train Program is open every Monday at the Columbia Mall in Buckhorn from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. The handicapped-accessible model train layouts are located near the Sears end of the Mall. They now feature a vintage American Flyer and the Dillon Floral limited-edition train with the puffing MTH steam engine.
All Day Volunteers Needed The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteers for their “Road to Recovery” program. You can volunteer your spare time to provide free transportation taking cancer patients to and from their treatments. Volunteer Drivers are needed in Columbia and Montour Counties. All Day Christmas Card Design Contest Father’s Hope is holding their first Christmas card design contest for local youth. Entries must be submitted by May 31st at the office building at 21 North Arch Street in Milton. The theme for the contest is “Merry Christmas In Any Language: Jesus Loves The Orphan Children Of The World.” The contest is open to youth entered in kindergarten through 12th grade. The winning designer will be awarded $50. Entries must be in color and created by hand.
All Day Art Installation Project Bloomsburg University’s Haas Center for the Arts will soon become home to an original art piece designed to celebrate the collaboration of the university and the greater Bloomsburg community. The piece, titled Confluence, will be a 7 foot by 60 foot depiction of the growth and activity of a small town and how the beauty of nature has inspired a wealth of visual art and cultural enrichment in the area. 19 Susquehanna River Artists have collaborated to construct 18 large tiles that will be installed every two weeks until the piece is completed on May 3rd.

This one’s titled “Substance Abuse from an Emergency Room Perspective.” The program is free and open, and informational materials will be distributed.
