||Breakfast and Brunch
||The Potts Grove Fire Company will serve up their monthly all you can eat breakfast buffet and brunch on Sunday February 17th from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. There’s a new menu each month that includes favorites like eggs, home fries, sausage, bacon, scrapple, and much more. Brunch starts at 10:00 AM. Cost is $8.00 for you, $4.00 for your kids ages 4 to 12, and free for kids 3 and under. The fire hall is located on Route 642 between Danville and Milton.
||The March of Dimes team DNA is hosting a flapjack fundraiser this Sunday at Applebees in Bloomsburg from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Cost is $7.00 for you, $5.00 for your kids ages six and younger. Tickets are available at the door, or in advance by calling 204-3103. Proceeds go to the March of Dimes.
||Moove N Groove Day
||The Kidsburg 2.0 committee along with the Bloomsburg Area YMCA present Family Moove-N-Groove Day Sunday February 17th from Noon to 4:00 PM at the Bloomsburg Y. It's an afternoon of activities for your entire family. Participate in Zumba, Karate, Pilates, basketball, therapeutic movement, hula hooping, belly dancing and a lot more. There's no cost for the event, but donations are welcome to build up the Kidsburg playground funds.
||The Susquehanna River Arts group will have a show at Artspace Gallery in Bloomsburg running Thursday January 17th through Sunday February 24th. The group is made up for artists living in Columbia and Montour Counties through several different art mediums. Stop by to view their work. There will be an artist reception with light refreshments open to the public Saturday January 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
||Big Brothers Big Sisters
||Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Bridge, which serves Columbia and Luzerne Counties, is looking for volunteers. There are currently 250 children on their waiting list, and you can help with just an hour or two per day. ||Father’s Hope is looking for young musicians to participate in their Kickoff Fundraiser Concert that will be held on Saturday April 20th. Father’s Hope is Milton-based orphan outreach project that sends fun, comfort, and care items to orphanages around the world. The concert is designed to be a fun evening for the entire family and will feature local residents in or near their teens and 20’s sharing their musical talents with the community. ||Beacon Lodge Camp
||The Pennsylvania Lions Beacon Lodge Camp is happy to announce its 2013 camping season, which opens June 1st and closes August 13th. Camp sessions are six or ten days based on eligibility criteria. This season marks the 65 consecutive years of camping. The camps mission is to provide individuals with special needs the opportunity to enjoy a camping experience encompassing recreational, educational and personal enhancement.
