6:00AM 10:00AM Ashes To Go Espy Trinity United Methodist Church is hosting “Ashes-To-Go” on Ash Wednesday February 13th from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. It’s a drive up service for the Lenten blessing. You’ll receive the cross of ashes on your forehead, a Lenten significance card, prayer for the season, and a wooden cross for devotions. And, if you have time, their sanctuary will be open for meditation and prayer with inspirational music. Espy Trinity United Methodist Church is located on Old Berwick Road in Bloomsburg.
9:00AM 11:00AM Blood Drive The Salvation Army Store in Downtown Bloomsburg will have free flu shots this Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. No appointment is necessary. The store is on Main Street in Downtown Bloomsburg.
10:00AM 12:00PM Story Time The Bloomsburg Public Library is hosting story time on Wednesday, February 13th at 10 AM. Good listeners age 3 through 5 are invited and will have a personalized certificate waiting for them if they sign up beforehand. Walk-ins are welcome and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

All Day Artspace Gallery The Susquehanna River Arts group will have a show at Artspace Gallery in Bloomsburg running Thursday January 17th through Sunday February 24th. The group is made up for artists living in Columbia and Montour Counties through several different art mediums. Stop by to view their work. There will be an artist reception with light refreshments open to the public Saturday January 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

There are currently 250 children on their waiting list, and you can help with just an hour or two per day. All Day Musicians Wanted Father’s Hope is looking for young musicians to participate in their Kickoff Fundraiser Concert that will be held on Saturday April 20th. Father’s Hope is Milton-based orphan outreach project that sends fun, comfort, and care items to orphanages around the world. The concert is designed to be a fun evening for the entire family and will feature local residents in or near their teens and 20’s sharing their musical talents with the community. All Day Soup Sale The Holy Family Convent in Danville will be selling homemade soups Wednesdays during Lent. Various subs and baked goods will also be available for purchase. All Day Beacon Lodge Camp The Pennsylvania Lions Beacon Lodge Camp is happy to announce its 2013 camping season, which opens June 1st and closes August 13th. Camp sessions are six or ten days based on eligibility criteria. This season marks the 65 consecutive years of camping. The camps mission is to provide individuals with special needs the opportunity to enjoy a camping experience encompassing recreational, educational and personal enhancement.
