1:30PM 3:30PM Look Good Feel Better The American Cancer Society invites women with cancer to treat themselves to a makeover for the body and mind by attending an upcoming “look good feel better” session on February 11th from 1:30 to 3:30 PM at Geisinger Medical Center Knapper Clinic in Danville. “Look good feel better” is a free workshop for women with cancer where trained cosmetology professionals teach attendees how to care for the physical side effects of treatment. All attendees will receive a free gift bag complete with brand-name beauty products and learn a 12-step process to address skin changes, nail changes, and hair loss. 3:00PM 5:00PM Wheelchair Engineers The free Wheelchair Engineers Train program will be open at the Columbia Mall in Bloomsburg this Monday. The handicapped-accessible model train layout is open each Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, and now features the Dillon Floral limited-edition train with its puffing MTH steam engine. It’s located at the Sears end of the mall.
All Day Artspace Gallery The Susquehanna River Arts group will have a show at Artspace Gallery in Bloomsburg running Thursday January 17th through Sunday February 24th. The group is made up for artists living in Columbia and Montour Counties through several different art mediums. Stop by to view their work. There will be an artist reception with light refreshments open to the public Saturday January 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

All Day Musicians Wanted Father’s Hope is looking for young musicians to participate in their Kickoff Fundraiser Concert that will be held on Saturday April 20th. Father’s Hope is Milton-based orphan outreach project that sends fun, comfort, and care items to orphanages around the world. The concert is designed to be a fun evening for the entire family and will feature local residents in or near their teens and 20’s sharing their musical talents with the community. All Day Beacon Lodge Camp The Pennsylvania Lions Beacon Lodge Camp is happy to announce its 2013 camping season, which opens June 1st and closes August 13th. Camp sessions are six or ten days based on eligibility criteria. This season marks the 65 consecutive years of camping. The camps mission is to provide individuals with special needs the opportunity to enjoy a camping experience encompassing recreational, educational and personal enhancement. All Day Kidsburg 2.0 Design Contest The Kidsburg 2.0 committee invites your kids to help them design the new playground for Bloomsburg Town Park. If your kids want to get in on the fun all they need to do is draw up the playground of their dreams and submit it by this Friday. 7:00PM 10:00PM Man to Man The American Cancer Society invite prostate cancer survivors and caregivers to come find support at the next “Man to Man” meeting on February 11th at 7 PM at the Pine Barn Inn in Danville. “Man to Man” meets monthly and offers a secure setting to learn about prostate cancer, treatment options, coping and everyday living.
